Dear Ones,
We had a great Sunday Meeting today instead of Sunday School. We had 18 in attendance. They were Wayne & Judy Collins, Martha & Russ Everett, Tim Tarr & Tracy, Marlene Carpenter, Barbara Tarr,Brother Dewey & Sister Thalia, Brother Dewey Lee, Brother Gary, Brother Chessie,Brother Bernard,Brother Danny Collins,Brother Terri Simons,Brother Roy & sister Dawn. Wow! Praise God. What a meeting...
We started out singing "O, I Want to see him".Then Brother Terri prayed a sweet prayer. We were already filled with the Holy Spirit. There were so many there that needed to be Sanctified. We just turned everything over to the Lord. And we sang "Yes, Theres One".Brother Bernard read the Holy Word for us and it was so beautiful. He read from Luke and Acts, chapter 26, "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are Sanctified by faith that is in me." 26:18 1-forgiveness, 2-Sanctified by Faith. 2 works.Amen!sister Dawn backed and talked about the 11th hour and how we shouldn't wait till than.Spoke of Uncle Howard and how he waited so long, but did make it.Read from Isaiah Chapter 41, how we have no need to fear for the Lord will hold us, and help us.Brother Dewey Lee talked about being Sanctified and also mentioned Uncle Howard. Brother Roy talked so powerful about waiting to get sanctified and how with Uncle Howard, it was almost too late. He said that we shouldn't put it off. I'll tell you the tears were flowing. This was one of the most powerful meetings I have ever attended. Praise God!Brother Terri stepped out and talked about how powerful our God is. About how battles were won by God, and the battle is always the Lord's.There was shouting at Christ's Sanctified Holy Church up the neck in Chincoteague!Brother Gary prayed the closing prayer, how humble. We sang "When The Redeemed Are Gathering In". Brother Danny got out to close and talked about Romans Chapter 8. "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" 8:35 How beautiful!Praise the Lord!Brother Danny asked who wanted prayer. All hands were raised. Praise God.So many hearts were touched. It was beautiful.Sister Thalia dismissed with a beautiful prayer. We serve a Great God. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God; to them who are the called according to his purpose."Romans 8:28 We are so happy to be this little Christian Band living in a Holy Land.I may have made some mistakes in this, but I prayed the Lord would help me. We love you all and we pray that if you don't know this great God of ours, please seek Him. God bless you all.
Love & Prayers,
Brother Roy & sister Dawn
