Chincoteague Sunday School 2/1/09

Dear Ones,
We had a wonderful time today. We had 11 present. Tim Tarr & Tracy, Marlene & Barbara, Brother Dewey & Sister Thalia, Brother Gary, Brother Chessie,Brother Dewey Lee, Brother Roy & Sister Dawn. We sang "Is Not This The Land Of Beulah?","I Want To Stroll Over Heaven","How Firm A Foundation" & "He Filled A Longing". Brother Chessie prayed a sweet and humble prayer. Brother Gary gave a wonderful testimony, and gave out the verses.Brother Roy stood to give out the Holy Word. We are in Hebrews, chapter 9. Wow! What beautiful reading.Brother Roy explained about the physical verses the spiritual, old verses new.The sanctuary and the Holiest of all."But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building." verse 11"And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance."verse 15This was such beautiful reading, hands were raised, and tears fell."So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." verse 28 WOW! We stood and sang "I Was Glad When They Said Unto Me" Many testimonies were given, and all asked for prayer. "If God be for us, who could be against us." Amen, Amen. Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus...Brother Dewey Lee closed with a sweet prayer. We are so thankful for this church up the neck. Please keep us & the Delaware crowd in your prayers. We love you all.
