Dear Ones,
We had a great time in Sunday school today. The Lord truly blesses his people. We were 8 in number. Brother Dewey & Sister Thalia, Brother Gary, Brother Dewey Lee, Barbara Tarr, Marlene Carpenter, Brother Roy & Sister Dawn. Its such a blessing to be together in this little Church. We sang "On Christ, The Solid Rock I Stand","Hide Me, Rock Of Ages", & "Telephone To Glory". Brother Gary prayed a humble sweet prayer for all those sick and lost. Sister Dawn gave out the verses. The verses read were all so pretty this morning. Brother Roy read us the Holy Word. We are in Hebrews Chapter 1 & 2 up to verse 10.This reading is so beautiful. How God spoke to the prophets in the beginning and in these last days spoken to us by his son, Sweet Jesus. "But unto the Son he saith, THY THRONE, O GOD, IS FOR EVER AND EVER:A SCEPTER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS THE SCEPTER OF THY KINGDOM." 1:8 In chapter 2 "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him: God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?" Chapter 2:3&4 :But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every nan." 2:9 Jesus paid the price for all of us and by His blood, we are healed. Praise the Lord! He came and died and now lives forever in our hearts. We stood and sang"I Was Glad When They Said Unto Me". Hands were raised for prayer and Brother Dewey Lee dismissed. We really enjoy our time together here in Chincoteague. We love to praise the Lord. We owe HIM everything. He is the Captain of our salvation. Thank you Jesus.
Love & Prayers,
Brother Roy & Sister Dawn
