No Creed but Christ, No Law but Love, No Guide but the Bible.
Dear ones,
We had a great Bible study Tuesday night with 6 in attendance. We're small in number, but we have the Holy Spirit. There was Sister Barbara Jean & Brother Albert, Sister Christine & Brother Marshall, Brother Dewey Lee, & Sister Dawn. Brother Roy was not feeling well. We sang "The Lighthouse", "On Christ, The Solid Rock I Stand","Old Ship Of Zion" and Sister Barbara Jean prayed a humble and sweet prayer. And we sang "Lean Upon The Savior" & "Had It Not Been". Oh hands were raised and we were so full of the Holy Spirit and just felt so good and Blessed. We began studying Daniel, chapter 4. Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, and the dream troubled him so he called in the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers and finally Daniel.Daniel thought for an hour and was somewhat troubled.Daniel explains that the tree that Nebuchadnezzar had seen was himself, and how he had become strong in his kingdom, and how he had seen a Holy one come down from Heaven and wanted the tree hewn down. The dream told that the King would be driven from men and thy dwelling would be with the beasts of the field for 7 years. And he would be changed until he knew who was the most High in the kingdom of men. At the end of 12 months He walked into his palace and said,"Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?" As the words left his mouth, his kingdom departed from him.At the end of those 7 years He came to himself and praised and honored God and his reasoning returned to him. We can do nothing of ourselves, everything is because of God.He is all... "Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of Heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgement:and those that walk in pride he is able to abase." Amen. Praise the Lord.We really enjoyed ourselves. The Lord just opens everything up for us as we read this living word. We then had our union prayer. It is so sweet to listen to these prayers, they are so humble. we are so excited about our Feast Meeting. Please be in prayer for us, and Brother Dewey and all the lost souls here. Thank you Jesus!
Love & Prayers,
Brother Roy & sister Dawn
