Dear Ones,
We had a wonderful Sunday School and we had 9 present. They were Brother Dewey & Sister Thalia, Brother Dewey Lee, Brother Gary, Brother Chessie, Barbara Tarr, Marlene Carpenter,Brother Roy & Sister Dawn. We sang "Just A Little While","Is Not This The Land Of Beulah?". Brother Chessie prayed a pretty prayer. And we sang, "It Makes Me Want To Go". Sister Dawn gave out the verses, and they were all so good...Brother Roy stood to read the Holy word. We are studying in 2 Timothy, chapter 3. We studied about how we should not care so much about ourselves, but we should dedicate our lives to God. It is wonderful to be together and to feel the sweet Holy Spirit and to hear the words of life.Brother Roy explained that there will always be persecution in our lives.""Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."2Timothy 3:12And finally we read,"That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 3:17God has given us everything we need to live a righteous, Holy life pleasing to Him.We sang "I was glad when they said unto me" and stood. Brother Dewey asked if anyone needed prayer and all hands were raised. Oh, we are so thankful for this church, this way, this Doctrine, but most of all the sweet Spirit Of Jesus. Thank you Jesus!Brother Dewey Lee dismissed. We all need to pray for Brother Dewey, He will have surgery on Sept. 22, 2008.Please remember that the Delaware Feast Meeting is Sept. 13 & 14. We hope that everyone will come, but if you can't, please pray for our meetings and the lost souls that are here. God Bless everyone.
