Delaware Bible Study 4/8/08

Dear Ones,
We had a good Bible Study with 5 present. Sister Barbara Jean & Brother Albert, Brother Dewey Lee, Brother Roy & myself. We sang "When We All Get To Heaven","I'm The Least In The Kingdom","I'm Glad I Know Who Jesus Is" & "I'm Building a Home". Sister Barbara Jean prayed a beautiful and humble prayer, so sweet. When we all get together, the sweet Holy Spirit fills us and we have such a wonderful time praising the Lord. We were missing Sister Christine & Brother Marshall(They had to attend a viewing). Then we sang "I Will Not Be A Stranger".Brother Roy brought us the Holy Word. We are studying Isaiah, chapter 38, 39, & 40.What wonderful reading!Hezekiah was told he would die, so he prayed to the Lord. "And said,Remember now, O Lord. I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore."38:3 He was reminding the Lord how he loved him.And the Lord gave him 15 more years to live. How great is our God!!!In chapter 39, King Merodachbaladan of Babylon sent men to visit Hezekiah, and Hezekiah showed them all he had. Then Isaiah tells Hezekiah that everything he has will be carried away to Babylon saith the Lord of hosts, and even his sons. "Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days."39:8 Hezekiah was not worried about loosing everything as long as he had the love of God.Amen.Chapter 40 is one of the most beautiful chapters in the Bible, I believe. It talks about the comfort we receive by trusting in the Lord."But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." 40:31Wow! How pretty are the words of our Lord.We really enjoyed our Bible Study and the fellowship we have together. We had our union prayer, all knees & heads bowed to our Lord. Some of the most humble prayers i've ever heard. Praise the Lord!Thank you Jesus! Lets all be in prayer for the Raleigh Feast Meeting coming up this week-end.Let's pray that new souls will be born into the Kingdom.Amen.We are so happy to have this little church along the roadside (as Sister Barbara Jean calls it when she prays). "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!" Romans 11:33 Please keep us in your prayers.
Love & Prayers,
Brother Roy & Sister Dawn
