No Creed but Christ, No Law but Love, No Guide but the Bible.

Chincoteague Sunday School 3/30/08

Dear ones,
We just had a wonderful time in church today. We praised the Lord and He rained down His blessings on us.We had 11 in church. They were Sister Thalia & Brother Dewey, Sister Barbara Jean & Brother Albert,Brother Gary, Brother Chessie, Brother Dewey Lee,Barbara Tarr, Marlene Carpenter, Brother Roy & myself. We began singing "Power In The Blood","He Lifted Me Out", and "The Hallelujah Side". Brother Albert prayed a beautiful and humble prayer. And we sang "Ring The Bells Of Freedom". Hands were being raised during theses songs. Brother Chessie said his wife was out of the hospital, which was wonderful news.Brother Chessie gave out the verses. He talked on St, Matthew chapter 18, talking about being converted and being as little children. That's how we must be. His talk was really powerful.Everyone's verse was really beautiful.Brother Roy got out to bring the Holy Word. We were in Ephesians chapter 3. This was so beautiful talking about the mystery of Christ. Paul talks about being humble and how everything was made known by the Spirit. He talks about preaching to the Gentiles also.It seemed that Paul had great confidence & courage through relying on Christ. The prayer that Paul prays is so beautiful."That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;that ye being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height ;And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God." 3:17,18 & 19 The prayer has 2 more verses. Brother Roy did a great job reading and explaining the Word to us. We really enjoyed our Sunday School. We are so glad we have this little Church up the neck, and we are always glad to be together praising our Lord and Master. How great it is to have the Holy Spirit within and to be Sanctified and to have His word burning within us. We can't thank Him enough. Please keep us in your prayers. "Would you live daily, His praises to sing? There is wonderful power in the blood." Amen. We love you all.
Love & Prayers,
Brother Roy & Sister Dawn
