No Creed but Christ, No Law but Love, No Guide but the Bible.
Dear ones,
It was so wonderful to be together tonight, praising the Lord. There was 7 of us present. Sister Barbara Jean & Brother Albert, Sister Christine & Brother Marshall, Brother Dewey Lee, Brother Roy and myself. We sang,"Humble Thyself", & "I Am Blessed". Sister Christine prayed a sweet humble prayer. We sang "How Firm A Foundation" and
Brother Roy began to read the Holy Word. We read from St. John, Chapter 20.This is such beautiful reading. The resurrection, how wonderful. Jesus payed the price for us on that cross. When Jesus spoke to Mary, "Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?" She thought it was the gardener, but when Jesus spoke her name, "She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say Master." St. John 20:16 She knew then that it was Jesus. He then appeared to his disciples."Then said Jesus to them, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you." After he had said this, He breathed on them, and said "Receive ye the Holy Ghost."The disciples were anointed by the Holy Spirit. This is one of the most beautiful chapters in Saint John."Jesus saith unto him,Thomas, because thou hast seen me,thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."verse 29. Amen We have life through his name. We have to have faith and believe to the saving of our souls. We are so thankful to have Brother Roy read to us. To understand the scriptures and feel the love of God. We had our union prayer. Thank you Jesus. Please keep us in your prayers and Marsha Lynn Phillips also and Brother Dewey. Please pray for the upcoming Feast Meeting at Norfolk.
Love & Prayers,
Brother Roy & Sister Dawn
