No Creed but Christ, No Law but Love, No Guide but the Bible.
Dear Ones,
We had a great Bible Study tonight although Brother Roy could not be with us. He was not feeling well. We had 6 in attendance. Brother Albert & Sister Barbara Jean, Brother Marshall & Sister Christine, Brother Dewey Lee, and myself. The Lord really Blessed our service. We sang,"Heavenly Sunlight","Lean Upon The Savior","When the Redeemed Are Gathering In","He Set Me Free","We Will March Through The Streets Of The City","On Christ, The Solid Rock I Stand","Old Ship Of Zion", and "My Home Is On The Other Side".Brother Albert opened with a sweet, humble prayer. The Holy scriptures were opened and we began in Isaiah, Chapters 1 & 2."Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:"Isaiah 1:18& 19 We really enjoyed studying these scriptures. Brother Marshall said that back in those days they were bad, just as people are now who don't know God. This is so true."But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword:for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it."Isaiah 1:20"The works of his hands are verity and judgment;all his commandments are sure."Psalm 111:7 We thank the Lord for the opening of the Holy scriptures so that they are understood. We feel so Blessed and thankful and so encouraged to serve the Lord. We had our union prayer and I have never heard such beautiful prayers, so humble and pure. When we hear each others prayers, it brings tears to our eyes. Praise God, thank you Jesus. We are so happy and glad to serve such a mighty God, and we want to spread his word to others, any that will hear."Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" St. Matthew 28:19 & 20 Please keep us in your prayers as well as all of our churches & congregations. Please keep Marsha Lynn Phillips in your prayers. We love you all.
Love & Prayers,
Brother Roy & Sister Dawn
